not at home......but when i could finnally get through to my parents....my dad was like yeah.....we got some roof damage....our nieghbors tree fell into our roof.......

 

What happened in Hampton? Anybody know?

 

no power in williamsburg, nor do landlines work, the sprint cellphone tower is not working so no sprint PCS service. Centerville road is bad.. powerlines on the ground everywhere, doesn't look like we are getting power anytime soon. Water is contaminated, city advices to boil water before using it.

 

hampton was hit pretty bad also but most of it will have power back tonight, i am currently posting from Newport News.. looks like jefferson ave. has power. Talked to City official earlier today and he said they will get most of newport news up tonight and hopefully make their way to williamsburg.

 

Anyone know if CNU was damaged at all?

 

We had about 3 shingles fall of and a small piece of siding popped out of it's place (it's still on the house, just hanging there).
That's about it.
Doesn't even look like a storm was here. We got power back the next day. Our house is on the edge of the power grid. Our neighbors to our right and everyone else down the street still has no power.

 

It blew my roof off and flooded the street with knee deep water

I live in Olde Town. We had to go to VA BEACH to a friends house after that it scared the piss out of me .... Ohhh yea the house has mad leaks now

went by there first thing friday. C.N.U. is aight there were a bunch of trees down all over the place, but no buildings were hit as far as i could tell. i got lots of pics, but the camera's at my place. prolly post some as soon as we get power at my casa. i've been camping out in various houses in kiln creek, coventry and meadowlake farms where they have power. my neighborhood got pretty tore up. couple houses on my block are in the process of being condemned. more trees down on my block than there are houses. the SHO is fine, no more dammage than there was at the begining of the storm. hope the rest of the 757 is aight. all of iridium V is aight save gibson (attryant) that we know of. hope everyone else is aight.

Before the smart ass remarks come out, has anyone seen TNCC? Its bad enough the school is already jacked up, but i dont need to roll back there (whenever that is) to find it in worse conditions than it was before.

As far as i go, my house lost some siding, that whip got banged up a little bit by some branches. But the real kicker was when i approached the Jefferson ave/oyster point intersection. I was turning left onto jefferson from oyster point to get some god damn gas, and of course the light was out. So there we 4 po po there moving things along and waving for my lane to go. When i was about go through, the partner of the cop waving me along jumps out and yells stop, so of couse i stopped right on the dime, and the sumbitch behind me smacks me rear. I got out to assess the damage and that bitch came yellin at me like a drill sergeant "get back in your car, move move move!!!!". I swear, this hurricane has been some chaotic shit.
