He is running the Evolution kit. Get the kit that has EVERYTHING, i know its a little much but it saves time and money in the long run. As for the swap itself, you HAVE to notch the back of the block for the half-shaft to fit. It comes with something to go by, go a little more than what it says. There isnt a way around the hood problem. The motor sits pretty close to the ground and goooood luck.

Ill post pics later of the swap.

vtec STILL isnt hooked up??? lol

The evo kit is bisi designed. it has almost everything you need. i did need to get an alt. relocator bracket but i guess it isn't nessessary. Why do you think H2B is profitable? Just wondering

Well, started paying on my B16 cable trans today, along with all the b-series mounts and such. The QSD kit from Hybrid is about $900, so not too bad. Next, I start the head work(bronze valve guides, dual valve springs and titanium retainers, stage 2 cam, and ferrea valves) and the mild port and polish. I need mostly piddly shit now, save the harness and ECU. If anyone knows of someone gettin rid of an H-series ECU, let me know....not to mention a harness(that would be nice too). Either way, as soon as I have everything I need, it begins.....I'll keep this page(or maybe a new one) updated with pics. Thanks guys.

Well, from what I heard, a 200hp properly put-together H2B setup can put an EF9 into the mid-12's, STOCK. Sounds pretty good to me!! lol Either way, the short gearing of the b16 trans should provide a good time regardless.....besides, who doesn't love a torque monster? I know I do

yeah but the resale value of one doesn't seem to be that great.

No honda's resale value is great. If your worried about resale, buy a Supra.

You don't have to use an H-series Ecu. You can use a P28 or a GSR ecu, get it chipped and tuned especially since you are building it as it seems. Please tell me your getting an intake manifold and getting rid of the stock one? Secondary butterflys for the lossss.

Hmmm, now this is news to me. I have the stock one right now, which I was gonna port ever so slightly. What manifold is optimum for this setup, if ya don't mind me asking? I've done a considerable amount of research at this point, but there's always shit I miss. Hit me.

And as for the resale value, eh, who cares. I'm building this one for me to enjoy first, whoever else, second. As long as I get my kicks from this girl, that's all that matters.

Do you plan on keeping the balance shafts or just removing the pulleys?
