That RMR disc is going to be noisy as shit. He's gonna think his tranny is fucked up it will be so loud.

How much are you charging for the install? Let us know how it goes, I'll be doing mine pretty soon.

The ACT kit is out now, so that is what I'm going with. It uses the stock disc, and a little heavier pressure plate. The stock pressure plate is weak which causes the clutches to slip when you launch it. That is how it it real easy to melt your clutch within the first few miles. The heat just eats away at the material.

Good luck on the install.

Yea thats greg's car, I've ridden in it before when he launched it. He definately couldnt launch very well at all, I know its a new car and all, but I have a feeling that was the reason as he really wore the clutch out when he tried launching for me. He has very minimal mods, and as mentioned it only has 6k miles so I cant imagine its just natural wear. The whole car smelled of clutch when he launched because he didnt slip it out quick enough. O well, shit happens, I'm sure this one will grab quite a bit harder.

The brakes were just as I expected them to be, very nice. 12.2" 4pot fronts and something like 11" 2pot rears, i think it was car and driver that rated it at 106ft 60-0, which as you should know is absolutely insane. That's perhaps the one thing on the car I truly am envious of, aside from the seats, as they held you like a glove.

i wish some people in the rsx-s, evo or sti would wreck the car and sell me the seats. greg is not included in this offer :P

rsx-s seats are very good too. harness ready too!!

well....she will sit here for a day...the RMR clutch was not a good fit on the shaft, and the pressure plate is fuct. sooo...we wait for a ACT unit to come from lancershop. happy happy. joy joy. gota love it. the RMR unit, i personally didnt like, due to the fact that it will not slip, being a six puck unit. it will grab, and that is a bad thing on AWD cars....instant grab=instant traction=SNAP!!!

better to slip the clutch a lil then snap a tranny....but the ACT is a nce piece, if its anything like the rest of the ACT's i have installed...DSM's and ACT go hand in hand. oh well...off to Floyd i go......

now i work on firetrucks for three hours, and try to get the wagon running. parts here finally!!!
