An Accord isn't any better or worse platform than any other Honda, except from a weight standpoint. You just need more power to make it as fast as a lighter Civic/Teg/etc.

No matter what, Accords will have much better weight distribution than any Civ/Teg with an H- or F- engine in it.

Accords are fine to build a car on... from my stand point there nicer then civics stock for stock year for year. The G23 is a very interesting motor but not the simplest to build from what ive read. If I were you and money is an issue I start with an H23... the non-vtec DOHC but take your time with the swap and make sure things are done right. Use quality swapping parts. Then save for an H22 head and maybe even send it out to get work done on it. Then swap the heads.

My best tip would be not to rush things. Dont ghetto rig things just to get it done faster. Use parts that have a good reputation behind them and do PLENTY of research.

I got my car for cheap but the guy who did my swap ghetto rigged thing and now I get to clean up after him.. So im talking first hand from that.

GL with the build and dont let anyone talk down on the platform you pick.

the g23 isnt as hard as you think it is dude... the h22 heade matchs right up with the block you juat have do do modifications to the block(little stuff) and to the waterpump and shit.. and the cool thing is that f22 block or f23 block for cheap from a junkyard and go all motor... it would be pretty tight..haha my friend wants me to do a g23 turbo in his accord soon aswell
