what are you guys talking about. there is nothing about vtec because the guy is asking about the tranny. you have to know what kind of car it is going in first. you need a flywheel and clutch to bolt it up because how many b20s come with manuals. none that i know of. ecus has nothing to do with the trans anyway. vtec cams in a non vtec. are you shitting me. the cams are not the same. 92+ civics are hydro and 94+ tegs are hydro.

I know that they did make the B20 in the US with a manual but only in 98-2000. You are right in the fact that most of the JDM swaps are mostly auto.
To the OP the trans will bolt up to the engine block just fine. Make sure that you get the right clutch for the right trans in the fact that the cable trans take a different clutch that the hydro. Other than that you should be set.

just because the picture isn't what they're describing doesn't change the fact that they did come with a 5 speed, or that you didn't know what the fuck you're talking about..... thanks for the help.
