Anyone down to play golf tomorrow around the Peninsula?
Fuck. I'm with blah on this one. If it's colder than the 50s, I don't play. Plus, with all this rain, the course is probably going to be a total fucking mudhole and if you're lucky, 90* rule. Cold + soggy course != fun. If you do go play, you're definitely too hardcore for me. I mean, you must like just hitting rocks and stuff, cause that's all the ball will be ...

And I'm telling you man. The balls are going to be *cold* and are going to feel like you're literally hitting a rock. Plus, with it being cold, your distances are going to be *way* off and you're going to have to readjust come warmer weather.

considering i will have to play 36 holes as a tryout February 5th, don't you think i need to practice in the cold?
it was crazy yesterday, my buddy hit a ball right on the other side of a lake. the ball rolled down then hill and fell in the lake about 9" of water. We got the ball out and used it on the next hole. It cracked when he hit it off the tee.
He hit it about 30 yards, and fell into 2 pieces. i kept a half, and he kept the other.
Im guessing the ball froze, and when the ball was hit off the tee the stress made it split.

Wow, really? Are you serious? Where are you trying out at? Hopefully somewhere in SC at least. Cause god damn it's going to be cold as fucking balls in February.
Im trying out for the NGNN Apprentice school team. Thats where i work at.
I mean I'm not trying to be "tiger woods" or anything, but I just want to be prepared, b/c I don't play all the time like talking about.

Well, word of advice, if you can't get out and play, at least try and find some place that has practice greens to work on your putting and short game. That's where you'll end up losing/gaining a lot of strokes.
yeah. I really need to work on my drives off the tee's, and putting.
those are my real problem areas.
For some ?reason? 75% of my tee shots always hook right. Im getting tired of it. I've changed grip/stance/clubs/swing positions...I used my dads driver one day and every time I used it, straight as an arrow.
