Your best bet; the head needs to be lifted to repair the issue so you might as well do this now to inspect it and provide pictures of the head. A stock head will yield $250~350 (albeit, $250 is on the low end, so $300-350), a B16A2 bottom end with bent rod and GOOD crankshaft (and it's likely not good if a knock was let go long enough to bend a rod) would yield $100~200 (the $200 being on a slightly high side). A B16A2 complete block with sensors, IM, TB, Fuel Rail, etc. with flywheel with no issues from a private seller can easily get $800~$1000 ($1000 being a slightly on high side).

Now that prices are out of the way given in their truest honest form, consider what I said and go from there. Am I an interested party? I -could- be, though I would definitely need to see pictures of the head condition, cylinder walls and crankshaft. IOW's, expect to pull it apart and take pictures before seeing anywhere near what you're asking -- but, then again, there are some that will willingly buy just to buy.

Yea so for $400 for everything head and block and all the extras I don't think is an unreasonable price. I don't have time to take apart this motor anymore with school and work .. i just don't. Trust me.. taking it apart and piecing it out would be the smarter way to go and POSSIBLY make more money. But.. i just don't have time or the place to put everything separately. That's why I am just saying $400.

The car never over heated and I did take the oil pan off while the motor was still in the car. ROD # 4 was bent but that was the only one. ALL 4 cylinder walls are clean and not a scratch on them. So bascially.. your getting a whole motor with IM,TB, Fuel Rail, etc.. for the price of a head plus $50 or so.. NOT BAD.. yea when I started out at $650 i didnt know what it would go for.. never sold a motor.. but $400.. thats reasonable.

If someone wants to buy it for $400 then think they can piece it out and make more money, by all means.

Trade for a Full LS longblock that has a mild water leak in the block? You can keep your ECU, all I am really interested in is the head.
