torquing rod bolts
that would be the smartest and the best thing to do. the extra insurance of having good bolts is well worth 35 bucks and pulling the pistons to put them in. If one of those oem bolts broke then that would be the end of you rebuild. is it worth the risk to save a lil extra work and 35 bucks? I dont think so. the link i provided in my last post should be exactly what you need. if not then just put the info in for your exact block and you will find what you need. if you plan on hitting high rpms or anything then the last thing you want is a faulty or weak rod bolt. my opinion is there is no downside to putting arp bolts on even with a fully oem setup. i have used them in every setup i have ever built and never had any problems with them at all.
