He said the harness just needed bo be connected but was already in the car spliced repinned and ready to go. I though the bill was still kinda steep but i wanted my car back so i paid it and told him i would be back on thursday to pick it up. When i came back thursday he seemed suprised that I was there. I looked into the shop and the car was still in the exact same place it was in when I came eirlyer that week. So i asked him to move it to the front and said AAA would be there in 45 mins. I went to sit in the lobby to make a phone call and walk out and my cars sitting on jackstands. I couldnt see what he was doing but i assumed he was just giving it a once over to make sure he didnt make any mistakes. So i ignore it and continue with my call. then when the tow truck comes he pushes it out to some parking spaces and i find out my window is broken. i ask him and he gives me this dumb iono look when he knows damn well he broke it. When i get home i check under the hood and find my can has no wiring competed at all and for some reason there are 3 harnesses in the back. WTF i only gave him 2 cars. The donor car and the mustang. I then notice 2 driveshafts in the car, i look under the car and find that not only is the exhaust gone (it was new when i gave him the car) but the driveshaft isnt even in the car. I was told this work was done and thats what i paid for. Then i realize he also stole the battery. I Dont even know that else is missing but i plan to pursue this legaly if i dont either get my stuff returned or paid for the amout of work I paid for and he didnt complete, the exhaust and the labor for it and the battery. Ill finish the work myself.
I highlighted what I see to be the problem.

So? I don't know who is telling the truth here, but that they have batteries in the shop says nothing about whether or not they stole his battery.

Having myself been ripped off BIG time by a "reputable" shop, I'm not really concerned with how many happy customers he has. Admittedly, now that I've looked into the workings of the place I dealt with, he was doing a lot of illegal things that people just didn't know about, whereas it sounds like Rick at the very least runs a lawful business.

Like you, ive been ripped off by a shop that is no longer around. The VERY FIRST DAY I met Rick I went to his shop and had some drag radials mounted on some wheels .... he jokingly said if I broke at the track that night give him a call.

I left a transmission at the the line, im talking broke the input shaft, the entire tailshaft was missing. I called Rick up and asked him how serious he was about that tow, in 2 hours he was up there with his enclosed car trailer and towed me home .... even asking me where I wanted to take the car back to my house a friends house .... instead of pitching a sale, which was perfect oppurtunity.

Looking at it, I figured he may be a pretty decent dood and asked him to tow the car to his shop and pull it out fix it etc. He did .... and ive been going back since.

Just have a really hard time believing that hes stealing a car battery or exuast off a customers car .... NOW I would however go for .... This kid comming in being a douchebag about this car when he was the one having money problems ..... and Rick just wanting the car off his property (obviously being a tow truck was called before he got there from the other thread)

Have you been back in contact over said missing parts? Or did you just go through the car when you got home and said well this is missing .... he stole it. Have you asked him if he has it laying around OUT OF HIS WAY in the shop?

That to me makes alot more sense and a bit more believable

So you had a good experience, so what. every shop has its good customers in fact i was referd to his shop by a good friend of mine who had work done.
I did call the shop and i did ask him about the missing parts. Ive said this previously in my posts he said he didnt know what happend.
The tow truck was called by me, and if i had money problems and he wanted the car out of his shop, why didnt he finish the swap? He didnt ask for a payment up front and the car had been sitting at his shop a long time waiting on the swap to get done. It was in the shop not outside, so it would have been in his way.

I can see you had a good experience but i didnt, being an immature ass and calling people names isnt gonna change these facts. If your such a good friend of his, you ask him! Maybe then i can get my shit back.
