I've seen tons of ammo around, at least in the 757 area
.380 isn't nearly as common in the US as it's not really deemed a 'sporting caliber' whatever that means. So some places like wal-mart don't carry it.

Huge ammo shortage. There are articles everywhere, even one in the Richmond Dispatch a few days ago.
There were lines to get into the gunshow on friday. Show up Sat or Sunday and you're SOL.
People are lining up at wal-mart at 7 AM to get ammo from trucks the night before.
The only reason places like Bass Pro Shop or Gander mountain have anything in stock is because they usually charge $10+ more a box than wal-mart or gun shows.
Consumers are buying it faster than it's being made.

Bass Pro only had 5 boxes of 380 yesterday @ $25/box for Rem hp's. They didn't have any boxes on Sunday. And it's Gander that limits you to 2 boxes, not Bass Pro.
