no problem. actually some npr pistons are in the rebuild kit i just bought. a full kit for $205 shipped. so im guessing parts arent of the highest quality, but it will do.

very nice.... it's great to see people on this board working on 22R motors. I have an 84 pickup truck that I bought for $100. Still runs great. I just need to clean or replace the carburator.... idles kind of high. Not trying to jack your thread up.... but do you happen to know where I can buy a decent rebuilt carb for this? Thanks!

They make a sweet ass weber for it. lc engineering has a performance one but they are high

thanks! Yup I saw that Weber carburator.... still kind of pricey for me... I really dont want to spend $300 for a carburator for a truck that I only bought for $100..... hehehe... I'll check out the bone yard

rebuild kits can be found all over the interweb. the weber you are talking about i have read is a great bang for the buck. though in your shoes thermal i would feel the same way. i got lucky on mine. my parts truck had a recently rebuilt one already on it.
