also do u know how to make your own canvas's?? its really easy and you can buy really nice canvas much better than cheap michael or art supplies crap. of course this only matters if u paint. I graduated in a degree in a art but i dont use it and went back and got my business degree but i still do some stuff every now and then

i don't do much painting, but how would you go about making one? unfortunately i have to take a painting class over the summer, so it might come in handy. what kind of art degree did you obtain?

general art degree at va wesleyan.

its pretty easy you cut the frame to the size u want measure out the canvas, stretch it and fold the edges in a triangle and staple it down and then u apply _____ ( i forget the name of the stuff) which then hardens the canvas and stretchs it

^ oh really? it doesn't seem to difficult. did you feel art wasn't profitable enough to pursue a career in it? what did you excel in as far as art is concerned?

umm well doing art = no as a business. BUT doing on the side can be fun but becoming an art broker is pretty profitable. I mainly concentrated on pencil (portraits or just completely random scenes) i did a little airbrush and some paint. I have sold quite a few pieces back in the day for over the 1k mark, but you have to do what people actually want to buy.
