I too am a fan of La Playa. It's a drive for me though.

Pizza Inn on Colley is home of the cheapest beer around here on the daily. $1 Corona's at Crocs on Thursdays.... $4 Big Mug Night at Chase's on Sundays.... it goes on and on. Just go out and see what you find.

I was there a couple weeks ago... Highlawn is incredibly cheap. Overrated, but cheap nonetheless!
