ahh, ok
I don't think it's that, sounds like it's comin from the head.
I'm gona go get some Lucas oil, as stated above and will update everyone.

basicly the piston slaps the cylinder wall because there is a gap between the 2 and when the engine warms up the heat makes the cylinder wall/piston expand or something, closing the gap and the noise goes away somewhat...my motor did it and i always thought it was piston slap.. thats the only reason why i said that

put the Lucas oil in and it's sounds alot better!!
but still alittle tick, gona try another valve adjustment...
also, I think some of the noise is comin from the bad motor mount aswell.

depends what you need..
no labor charge. only pay for the materials used..
I do auto body and paint, but the auto service class is right next to mine.

i just got low compression in one of my cylinders, Took the head off and the piston out. Everything seems to look ok. cant figure out what it is...gonna take the valves out and check them then check the bore with a micrometer...No big deal ill figure it out sooner or later. However on the auto body and paint part, once i get the motor fixed im trying to find somebody to paint it for me...my dad does it but it takes him forever and a day to do anything..I think id rather pay somebody lol..How much can you do a 92 civic hatch if i get the paint.

So whats the outcome of your motor?
