I dont know why but I am tempted...85k is about the time for those 2 turbos to be looked at. Any idea what turbos Volvo uses and how much the replacements run ?

 

Okay, I'm working on VADIS now to figure out which turbos it has in her...although I do know that they are tiny compared to what could be in there. I'll know more when I get back home and get the VIN to confirm, but initial reports (google) say that they are twin Mitubishi TC03's. I also read that the exhaust system is highly restrictive, and basic intake and exhaust mods, as well as ECU will make here scream. Anyway, the stockers whine when you hammer the throttle, but it's apparently normal for this car. It's been doing it since got it, and I checked with the dealership on this too. They said that it's normal for these turbos to whine a bit. I've also been real picky about letting the turbos wind down too. As for the car, I took a bunch more pics, and the link to the imageshack gallery is posted at the bottom. Also, I failed to mention in the original ad that she needs tires. The front two are worn down from cornering, and the rear two were a manufacturer's issue. (I'm going to the tire shop this coming week to have the defective tires checked out) Pics are of the car in general, as well as known issues, mostly small dents. I also have the hinge in hand to remount the gas tank door, which is being installed this week as well. Thanks for the interest.

Thanks for the offer, but I've never really liked the pre-98 gen 4's..they look like a flat head screwdriver to me.
