i have plenty of dirtbike experience bro....i have a 2004 four stroke four speed YZ450F which is the most powerful year...my dirtbike does a 100 mph plus i kid you not. the wheel comes up in all four gears! Woodrow, thank you for your input but I am no idiot and do not plan on getting a 1000 EVER. I'm sorry i'm not a pro like you sir, maybe someday i will be as great as you (maybe). I'm 100 percent sure I can ride a 600 and its not as if i'm just hopping on and not taking courses and practicing. Come ride dirtbikes with me and then I can show yall whats up!

just looked at the thread quick26. thanks for looking out, but a 1000 is definitely over the top for me!

 

I went to cycle world, they have a Kawasaki Ninja 250-R and they said you can't get them anywhere for close to 4 grand. They told me around 6 out the door!! I told them they were crazy. If you know a place where they can be had for around 4 let me know!

 

You are better off getting a used Ninja 250R and then sell it when you are ready to move up. Plus you can pretty much get what you paid for it as they are in high demand.

i hav a 1993 kawasaki zx-6 with 3000 original miles, the bike doesnt hav the stylings of a newer bike, but would be perfect to learn on and has pretty good power for only $2200/obo
