That is one reason why I never wanted to go to bike week. Theft protection would have came in handy. Im sorry to hear.

 

i went a few years ago and i was told about the high theft from some veteran myrtle travelers. i never left my bike out of my site. when i did it was blocked in between the truck and the u-haul trailer, sorry for yoru loss. i hope you get it back

 

I heard bike week has been done away with, due to all the crime and demographic it brings to the beach. Did I hear wrong?

newb question... what kind of theft deterrent shit is out there for bikes?

 

Alarms, lo-jack, cacaliper locks, heavy duty

 

thats why i dont go to bike wk.plus you dont really get to ride your bike you walk it

 

bilke is notthing but a bunch of peices of shit anyway, and im not being racist here, the week after is called black bike week and the crime rate skyrockets

 

yea, I don't go to that bike week. I have a buddy that lives down there goin' to that one and is looking out for me. It's probably in pieces by now. I'm hearing about some guy on eBay called mruntouchableone selling other people's bike parts(got 2 calls about it).

Luckily, I had a truck to drive and get back in.

Mayor Rhodes officially canceled bike week this year, but we came anyways and didn't spend a dime in the city of Myrtle Beach, and they took a huge hit because of it. Apparently the residents are happy, but the business owners are obviously pissed, because of so much revenue they lost just in that week.

 

I'm going to rig my bike with explosives, so that when turned on and it's a certain distance from me it blows up.

If she gets stolen I don't want anything salvageable.
