Just wondering but where did you get you research on how much that thing was worth? Not knocking your price by no means but wondering how you priced it at 10k? Oh yea you should put it on gun broker just to see what happens

 

Few guys from 1911forum.com and seen a few sold on gunbroker and guntrader and consignment from historic dealers online for 11 and 12k with a difference in production of only 8-10 digits on serial number

2) The link you added on the bottom shows a 1942 "Navy" Colt 1911A1 even if it looks a like people would want to see info on a "1937". Plus your link has no credibility.
