Re: VMSC @ RIR 5-30
I wish I had gotten a hang of the course sooner. My first lap I went really off course and my second lap I just barely went off at the end. I wish I had gotten a hang of it sooner but it was my first time so I feel like I did pretty well considering.

what was everyone's fastest time or how much did you end up taking off from the first runs? I got there early and walked the course about 6 times so i didnt have too much trouble staying on course. It really helps to do that. Justin said that the course next event would probably be less technical and a little faster. Hope to see you all back out there i had a blast.

I didn't end up participating but I was watching from near the final gates and the timing line. There was a mazdaspeed 3 there that seemed to be the fastest through the last gates every time. He ran about as fast as that awesome Z06.

My first two runs I went off course. 3rd was a 63.xx, 4th was a 61.xx, 5th was a 59.25. I know I could improve even further with a couple more runs. I don't think it was too bad for my first time autocrossing.
I was taking one section of the course with the wrong approach and I didn't realize it until I was working the course.
I'm hoping to get up to one of the events at vmp in June.

hopefully that bmw just needed to stretch its legs. seemed to bog real bad when it was accel out of turns. it would pick up good on the straights. who know. that fucker was loud tho.
good work on improving your times guys. my first was a 63.xx just to get thru the course and stay on. 2nd 57.xx, 3rd 56.2, 4th 58.xx off ( i must have found a good line out of the first box b/c i slid thru the second one!) 5th 56.3

I ended up getting my times down to the 63 range but i was murdering some cones out there. My tires were rolling bad on the fronts and they were at 48psi hot. What were you guys all driving. I had my blue ford focus sedan.
