R6 front fork question
if you have some way of locking the front wheel straight (like a bike lift) lock it down, make sure the forks are both even in the upper triple, loosen the LOWER triple pinch bolts, and yank the front end straight by pulling the bars the way they need to go. Once it's centered, tighten the lower triple pinch bolts back down. If you tighten them after straightening the front end and it moves back to being crooked, you probably have a bent triple clamp.
I just used my legs of coarse but it straightened right out. Does that mean that there is a problem or is that normal?
it means the forks weren't even in the lower triple. It happens, no biggie. Being even a little off at the tree turns into alot at the end of the fork leg.

oh, for what it's worth, since I missed it in the original post, you CAN swap the tubes from a right for to left and vise versa
