Local Awd Dyno

I don't think the area is saturated with enough AWD tuners to warrant a dyno.
Like mentioned before, they are expensive, and the only way to make up for it, is some extremely expansive advertisment to get the word out not only to Hampton Roads residence, but also to Central, Western and not to mention NC. I just don't know how successful it would be.

curry's, altered atmosphere (used to have one at least), and turboxs have them. All are in NoVA/DC/Baltimore area. A closer one would be good just for #s, but I'd prolly still take mine to TXS for tuning.
Everyone relizes that an AWD dyno can be used to for two wheel drive vehicles too. I think it would be benifitial for someone around here to have one. People will be like, "Yo dawg, that's da place with the AWD dyno. But they also do that two wheel shit too!!" But the dyno doesn't mean shit unless you have someone good that can tune the cars. That's critical and that's why everyone goes to Abacus, they have the best tuners in the area.
The question is because of a propossed deal to open a dyno w/ a AWD dyno and renting it to all the shops on a daily basis. With Us, Millenuim, Abacus, Direct Performance, and all the other shops, if you were the owner of the shop would you pay ~$250 a day to have complete use of the facility? That means you supply your own tuners but "lease" the facility daily. Just a thought...
