no... the tensioner is bascially a big bearing the belt rides on it, theres nothing to colapse, to adjust it losen the 14mm bolt holding it tight, rotate the crank pully counter clock wise 3 teeth and re tighten, u can also take a screw driver and put under the tensioner and pry up a bit to get the belt a bit tighter.

Thanks guys, problem solved. i was just paranoid about it and that the engine was not warmed up long enough in the video or when i looked at it. i just had car problems in the past and needed a second opinion.
