There was a dot class for a while called power street. Turbo cars ran dot and all motor were allowed slicks. The concept was cool but dot are hell on drivetrain. I believe that was also a fwd only class too tho

 

The problem is that the rules evolve. Someone throws a hissy fit and the organization caves, until you have stupid lopsided rules and cars going way faster than originally intended. I remember when the "true street" class at import vs domestic was actually a street class and not tin cans on slicks.

Is anyone that has a car that fits within these VERY SIMPLE rules interested?

Point of this thread was to find people who CAN and WILL race this event with the new added class... not talk and complain about what isn't allowed. I've never seen a more simple list of rules that has potential to build an AWESOME class.

These rules couldn't be any more simple or accommodating to an endless pool of cars.

 

I don't' have my all motor street car any more, but I might want to come out and watch.
