ive done one that broke a belt and didnt bend any valves. just need to pop cams loose and shoot air in the cylinders and see if they leak.

Just a heads up .... my sisters timing belt broke too... we just replaced the timing belt and did a compression test... a few were slightly bent and one barly met minimal specs.... after about 2 weeks of driving we did another compression test... all cyclinders were perfect... with the heat and continually motion the vavles actually straighten themselves out and reseated them selves on their own.... i guess its because some vavles are a soft enough metal.... this was on my sisters b18 motor from and ls integra
