First: Disconnecting the 02's will pop up the CEL immediately. Second, how can he know the air fuel ratio w/o a 02 sensor? Unless he checked it once then walked away, which is retarded. Third, he's blowing smoke up your ass with the internals. Walk away.

He must have a custom set of rings.
Either this guy is a tool or the shop that he has been going to are tools. One thing to look at is that if you fix the car he might bring it to you from now on to work on it and you can charge him out the A.. to fix some one elses mistake.
The only way he could have ITR internals it to have either RS machine, YCP, or Nippon pistons. They all make ITR pistons in 84mm and 85mm.
