Print this out and take it with in case they give you any trouble.

A couple years back a DMV lady told she could could not register my car without a bill of sale, so I went to the back of the line and got another ticket. The next lady did not even ask for a bill of sale. I had to stay twice as long at DMV than I wanted to, but I got the car registered.

I finally was able to register my s2k yesterday and it was a pain. I had the same issue with the bill of sale. They gave me their own bill of sale and I had to fill that one out with the sellers signature and also bring in my old one they didnt approve. The DMV in Arlington and Alexandria all gave me shit and wouldnt give me a break or give me advice. The dmv is springfield mall was the one that helped me out you should go there if its close.
