Shit I ordered today.

Rubicon Express 3.5 inch superflex substituted the lower control arms for the adjustable ones, adjustable track bars, quick disconnect sway bar links, rims, and 33x12.5 bfg mt km2s. So it should be a big day of installs.
Don't tell me you just got home from work/meeting?

So lets set the date to be the last weekend of August 29, 30.
We should go to the planning stage. There is a lot more chance of the run with a definated date and a commitment of people.

This is a link to our last trip to Shoe Creek.

That sounds good to me... Big Dogs is the 22/23 and I am thinking about going to that possibly. The tires I ordered were out of stock so they have to be drop shipped from the manufacturer which could take up to a month so that sucks. Guess I will be riding on the 31s.

Big Levels /Stoney Run closes for the winter between December and March.

The trails begins around Sherando Lake and ends at Bald Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Hey folks
Count me in for the weekend of 29/30. As an option, if we go on 29th we can camp and swim at my place on the James (other side of nelson county) that is about 30 minutes east the trails. I have some trails /obstacles cut into my land. Most can be run by any thing that has a 4 low. There are two hill climbs that i havent tried yet because i want to have someone else with me in case i get in trouble.

Ok, so if you are coming post up. Also lets start thinking about what time we will meet and where. Are we gonna camp overnight?

I should be there. I am hoping my lift gets here in time and I can get it installed. I really want my quick disconnects at the very least...

I am in. As I said before, I would prefer Stoney Run/Big Levels, but Shoe Creek would do fine. I like Stoney Run because it is closer to home (Richmond).

ok folks, to get this off center i am suggesting the following:

meeting time and date:
10:00 am Saturday August 29, 2009

meeting location:

i-64 & zions crossroad exit, (#136) rt. 15, burger king/c-store/gas sattion on west (right) side of 15.

this location is east of the rides so either can be done at this point so post with your pick. at this point we have two for stony run. for those of you coming from south and west, we can select another rendezvous point once we know what trail we are doing.

this should put o us airing down at the trailhead by 11-12, and gettting off the trail 4-5 max. this will leave time to find and set up camp for those that are going to camp.
