Just picked up a '08 Buell XB12SS...
if you have long legs its a little cramped.. But if you have short legs you cnt reach the ground and flat foot it... This bike isnt half as bad as the firebolt
notice how forward the clip ons are

I do have to say, these are some of the best looking bikes.. IMO

Thanks for all the compliments. I got a good deal on this bike. Found it on eBay and purchased from a guy who rebuilds bikes out of Montana. Paid $7,090 delivered to my door ($6,800 for the bike and $290 to ship it...we split shipping). He used JC Motors to ship the bike, the online tracking was great to see where the bike was. Bike has quite a few extras on it and for the most part exactly what I was going to do. I have a 90mm tail lift I'll be installing and possibly a different seat.
I picked up my helmet from Cycle World (HJC IS-16 Arkanium) on VB Blvd and my riding gear (jackets, gloves, etc.) from Cycle Gear off Little Creek Blvd. This is my first street bike, so I'm going to take it easy until I get some miles under my belt.

Here is a Buell (XB12S...shorter version of mine) with a tail lift and also a British Avon S10 gas mask wrapped around the headlights (two mods I want to do to mine)...
