Actually your are very wrong on this one. First off it would be CAMS not cam. Secondly all crown vics/ grand marquis/town cars got the PI motor from 01+ on.

I have one .... VERY clean ... 66,000 original miles , everything works , cold a/c , hot heat ....etc one of the cleanest and lowest mileage ones you will find . It's also a Florida Highway Patrol CVPI . So no rust ... Also has new tires on it and has been maintained very well , just had an oil change .
