I wish I could afford the ITB setup that VAC has for the my M62. They claim 600+hp NA on this motor, "Call for pricing". Lol.

It's more than your basic intake though. Doing away with the limitations the manufacturer had to deal with when designing the intake manifold is worth a LOT in some engines. I have no idea is this is true for the LSX or not but that price seems to be about in line with what most people are willing to pay to toss the stockish manifold designs for good.

Gotcha... the C5 and C6R race cars use this type of setup.

Hopefully he posts up some videos. I've always wanted to hear an ITB setup on an LSX.

The one at Va Speed is probably the one my buddy got that is going on a '99 Firehawk. He didn't pay 4K for it though. The car is going to have a lot of unique parts on it including this intake manifold and a Watts linkage set up instead of a panhard bar. He used to do the LSX tuning for Va Speed and tuned my car there and at All Aspects.

I know that 4cyls are showing them off a lot, but the only cars I have seen with an OEM ITB set up have had more than 4 cyls. R34 Skyline GTR for example.

Why does ITB decrease low end power?
