if you have a gps that also tracks your speed, tape it on the tank or some spot that you can see it clearly.
or get your friend in a car and tell him/her to maintain a certain speed and you follow from behind.
all speedo come from the factory about 10 - 15% off. it will be even more off if you do not have stock gearing.

ouch, one thing i hate about text comments is that no one can see the expression on the person who comments. I'm not really an angry person. I don't really wanna inflict physical pain either. I also don't have tolerance for those who don't use common sense (not directed to the OP btw, just a general comment), even though there are a few times I haven't acted with common sense, but I was railed for it.
