and greaser i dont know if thats your only trouble is oil contorl rings then i would say u are doing pretty good then... with 10 second car

 

another thing is torqueing a cam gear bolt down, i musta forgot that one. 1 week after motor install, it fell off. HAHAHA bent 4 vavles. oh well, should be running tonight.

dude i know al about it. im a manager at advance auto parts and i see it everyday. POS cars with apc sticxkers, wings, NOS stickers, body kits halfassed and all kinds of leafblower exhaust peopl come through there. about 98% of the people i consider rice comein and ask what kind of oil they need, and how much and where does it go and they all need help putting on wiper blades and ask dumb questions.


ive seen ricers ask for:

blinker fluid
muffler bearings
engine conversion kits
power steering wheel fluid
honda sockets to fit a honda

i hgad a guy in a 99 civik with a turbo, ask me to check his carbuerator because his friend told him it was bad and thats why he wasnt as slow as he usually is. i had to kindly explain to him that 99 hondas dont have carbs.

ive heard of buick rangers, ford blazers
huyndai accords, mercury lesabre, honda sonata

ive had people driving 89 hondas ask for parts for a 93, and they return them cause they got the car year wrong.

ive had to show multiple ricers how to pop their hoods because they didnt know how.

ive seen people buy the honda cold air kit from apc and duck tape them onto an eclipse. and i had a guy in a white evo from out of state wonder why his radiator was leaking, and he had duck tape and rubbber bands instead of a radiatior cap.



its rediculous what the car scene has turned into.
