Me too...It just strikes me as funny for people calling somebody a baller or fake-ass nga because they have $3,000 or $400 wheels on a $2,000 Civic.

I was just fuckin around, I've only owned 1 pair of real wheels before, the rest have been drag or rota's...

in my opinion "real wheels" should only be refering to wheels that are no longer in production. Rare wheels should be what everyone is after. Although, >80% of "rare" wheels are ugly as sin.

What is it to go out and buy a set of expensive wheels and rule the street. anyone with money can do that.

The desire for real wheels still exists due to the vast amount of kids that still drool over them. Be it the price, look or sticker on the inside. Kids getting into hondas cannot afford expensive things. (thats why they by 15yr old hondas, i know i did)

Of corse an adult with a full time job is going to have more money than a kid flippin patties. I have no idea where im going with this but i guess ill try to make a point here.

Yes, Real wheels are more expensive. Yes, they do attract attention and they are harder to aquire. but why does everyone hate on an entire car because the wheels are not super expensive? they can be the replica with the same width/offset and tire size and "it doesnt look good with those knock offs." "a set of real wheels would finish that thing off"

I know the differences as far as weight and strength and how they are made ect ect ect. i love wheels as some may know. I just cannot figure out the hate in the aspects of looks alone.

There's nothing wrong with that.I've had $2k wheels on my Civic that's three different shades of red and has body panels with huge dents
I just thought it's funny that it's even possible to be a baller in a Civic.If you put $20k wheels on it,it's still a Civic.The whole argument seems stupid to me.That people get so upset about what wheels are on somebody else's car blows my mind.

Depends on the person.

I didnt care at one point.. but well with what the future holds for my car... yeah it matters a lot.

 

Because brand name is everything. It's how everyone is judged.

 

If you're too stupid to figure this out then you can't afford them.
