wasnt really having problems before just like sometimes when i was at a stop light before it would cut off sometimes but start right up but never really any problems before with starting

did u ever have problems with the speedometer acting up?
and its possible its the main relay especially if it was the original one... sounds like what went wrong with my dads civic... he switched it out and it started up with no problem... they are prone to go bad and i would buy a new one never use a used one cuz its jus a matter of time before that one goes bad

 

actually yeah one day i was driving and it started dimming out of nowhere while car kept running then about 10 mins later car shut off

its above the pedal assembly...should be about a 1x2 box...usually brown or black...

have you checked fire and fuel pressure??
