I've never surrendered my plates and nothing happened, but I kept them in the house on the wall not on someone's car.

so you have any tags i can use. joking.

court might understanding on the matter tho. just be respectful and tell em that you may have accidentally left them on the car when you donated it. i know Richmond dropped my unauthorized use of tags. fyi the owner of the tags didn't get in any trouble or notice either.

you are supposed to surrender the tags otherwise they can still raise charges. some extenuating circumstance u can keep them like they are expired or u got newer tags or something like that cause i got a stack at home. but like aws said its unauthorized use of plates title has nothing at all to do with it

trust me i know the unauthorized use of tags all to well. i had tags from the STI on my 240 and was pulled cause i didn't have an inspection sticker on teh car. Darwin award there. but like i said Richmond dropped that ticket and its been like 7 months now, nothing has happened to the owner of the tags since. they also did the same when i had an fla tag on the car... only reason why they nabed that one from me is cause the officer say me doing to shift locks to slow down cause the retard in the f150 decided to slam on the brakes at the last second lol. but the cop was cool, just gave me a ticket for not having a Dl and let me drive home w/ out any tags lol. i am a lucky man... sometimes to lucky, knocing on the desk as we scroll.

Why did you leave your tags, in your name, in a car that you donated? Did you leave all your personal information in the glove box too?
