ok, well i have a guy at checkered flag helping me wire stuff, i just need to know what harness i need to get to give to him. isn't the si harness mpfi? and the vtec? I know i have a lot of questions lol

isn't there a wiring conversion? i saw one on ebay?

rywire.com has conversion harnesses. You really do not need to by a conversion harness. As stated above it can be a pain in the ass to do if you are not good a wiring. I have done a few so, it is not bad for me. You will need 4 injector clips and a good amount of new wire.


I would convert it to OBD1 while you are doing the swap for future plan if there are any.

OP, this is a lot more work involved than you may think...


I've done plenty of these swaps and conversions, it can be a headache your first couple times in.
the Si harness is already mpfi... and i never said it just "plugs up" i have personally done this myself

Just got fired, giving up swap. Motor for sale if anyone wants. And will swap something else into it later, how hard is a b series swap btw?

Well If you do not have the cash to do the SOHC swap then you will not have the cash to do the b-series.

You need to go to hasport.com and look at the parts needed to do the swap. You will new mounts, shift linkage, ect. Plus the wiring.

I know, I don't plan on doing the swap anytime soon, but I just heard b-series obd1 is easier, so when I get money, that's my plan.
