Well, congrats on not eating the new transmission and the new best run. I can still hear those drag radials screaming for mercy in first gear/ 60'..time for some slicks, 2 step and more broken transmissions.
Any idea on the set up in the silver one from the first pass in the video? He gets on out in the first 1/8, but you reel him in on the top end.
Thanks. I already have a 2 step, and slicks aint happening. haha, I've done the , let try to milk every bit of ET out of it, thing in the past, and it's not fun for me. I'd rather try to go as quick as I can just the way I drive on the street. If I got a 1.5 60' at richmond, MIR should be bad ass! haha once I figure out why I'm down on power, I should be knocking on 9's.
The silver GT is forged bottom end, auto, centri blower combo. I got him before the 1/8. haha he went 7.13 @ 97.78 and I went 7.00 @ 105.9.
I could tell it was close at the 1/8, but the angle of the track to the camera made it difficult to make out who was ahead.
I've never ran at Richmond, but MIR def hooks well...better 60's to come. Get the 60' down to the 1.30's and figure out why your power is "down" and yeah, the 9's are there.
Thanks. It's still down on power. It should be trapping near 140 the way it sits. After the holidays we will prob drop the motor and throw some better valve springs in the car to see if that is whats causing it to be down on power.
Eww.. could you see it on the dyno curve or do you think its doing it after fatigue?
