This will be out right about when the wife will be needing a new ride. Good timing.

Here's an old spy shot of the motor in a test car.

I bet the answer is some car with as much torque as a lawn mower, and the same exhaust note as one too.

any new news on the 400hp ecoboost mustang?
they will not use the eco-boost motor in the mustang, with that motor it will only be in AWD platforms. From what Ford told us last month in out regional meeting they will continue to put it in the SHO and AWD FLEX. Possibly the edge but not confirmed.

Wow. If they keep the pricing down at GT Mustang pricing, SOMEBODY in my family will be buying one. Prob not me any time soon (though maybe in a couple of years), but my brother might. Given that literally 9 out of 10 of my dad's cars have been German (hence the type of car-upbringing we had) this is saying something. Heck, given that it's not coming out until 2011 I might be buying one myself.

Hmmm...well, in that case I won't be buying one when they first come out, but maybe a year later or so. I'm presuming the price doesn't go up too much and that they keep the weight fairly close to what it is now.
