very cute...for a VW. Front end looks very golfish and would have been my first guess, before looking at the VW badge of course. Although it does have a striking resemblence to the new Civic Si, if the badges were not there, it could be debatable.

90% of VW entusiasts HATE that thing !!! It is a departure from the traditional GTi , so therefore it must not be good . I'm not a big fan of the new body , but just as times change .... blah blah blah ! And these are the dubs of our lives .

PS .... I am digging the wrap over black accents on the REAL mkV GTi ( not pictured here ) . Bringin it back to the old school !!!

it's a TDI though... the TDI Jettas weren't fast at all, they were just an econamy car, thats it. I'm guessing the TDI Golf will be the same?

 

when you consider the price of fuel in europe you might want to consider something that gets more MPG. If I was over there I think I'd be swapping the 1.9L 150hp/275tq TDI engine in my corrado as they respond nicely to some chip tunning just as my 90hp tdi did. here is the dyno of mine after only a chip:

 

that abd the u.s. versions will come with more powerful motors than just the tdi.... i think it would make a dope beater, but i still think my A3 looks dope.
