If the apartment has an actual fire place and they can't even get the heat to work its hard to tell when it was the last time they cleaned the chimney... You might set the place on fire...
But I tell ya what, I got two workin chainsaws, an axe, a sledge hammer and a couple wedges and some oak trees out back... Have at it, champ...

My apartment has a fireplace. Not that old a place. It's just a way of forcing those of us who want to live on a top floor to pay a little extra for the feature. It's kind of funny having no furniture other than one office chair and one desk (that's right, no bed), yet having a fireplace as a luxury extra, but oh well.
