Bone stock ehh....

sweet. i am still remember a few of the VW stuff from back when i had my jetta. thats crazy though that your car can produce that much power in a FWD setup.

does the car still handle great? i heard u were running 13.1's and mid 12's at the drag...what did it handle like? i've heard stories from honda guys of terrible wheel hop and stuff from their cars.

no, wheel hop isnt to bad... infact i dont dump when i launch i slip the clutch out of the hole... good for a 2.0 60' when you start dumping the clutch out of the hole you start breaking stuff. and the car handles pretty good..and yeah my first pass i did run a 13.1@118mph... had a 2.4 60'... after getting the 60' down i was averageing 12.6@116-117.

god damn,

dont the vdub turbos have a low RPM power band. like the turbo kicks in at like 1620RPMS? i test drove a 2000 wolfsburg jetta. god damn, i was pulling out and shifted normanlly but this sucker flew. but this hardly impressed my dad, and is the reason why a turbo'd car was not on my list of choices
