I used to OC all the time in Baton Rouge. But whenver I'd get pulled over, I'd inform him that I had a firearm in the vehicle before anything was said. He'd get it, run it, give it back (usually putting the clip in the glove box and the gun in the trunk) and then thank me for forewarning him/her.

Some localities ask for fingerprints. If my fingerprints weren't already going to be on file with the state for the work I plan to do, I would have balked at this.
