yes awd. no it is not damaged, the axle is fine... just the bolts broke.

did the 6 bolts that connect the axle to the tranny break?if so then double check and make sure there not broken in there,your gonna have to drill them out..i had the same problem with my audi with the axle being perfectly fine...either way glws and good price
