Re: How To Wire A Battery Killswitch DIY
this seems like the lazy way out and not really fixing the problem, i would use a CB just because they are easy to install, but gl with what ever you do
oh and a CB can be found at most audio shops and is around 25$
well a little late on the post but seems like you could still find were the drain is coming from its not that hard lol

One person with the right experience can do what all of your inexperienced buddies can't. If none of your buddies know how to track down something like this, it doesn't matter how many of them there are. All I'm saying is that if you can't find it, take it to someone who can. There isn't any shame in asking for help if the problem is beyond your personal knowledge.

the only experience i have is accumulated from diagnosing and repairing cars on my own in my garage
i'd be more than happy to seek professional help, but the car in its current state is about as far from stock as you can get, and i'm almost positive it would be turned away by any respectable mechanics/electricians
i do appreciate all the help and feedback though

Re: How To Wire A Battery Killswitch DIY
yea. its not like its extensive extra work, and wouldnt have to worry about frying a ecu...which will happen with a killswitch, if he's in a rush and flips the switch too soon. thanks for the rep btw

Re: How To Wire A Battery Killswitch DIY
would a killswitch ruin any electrical components if i turned the switch, lets say, a good ten seconds after the car died?
i'm worried about frying something, not resetting my radio presets
