Where to get wheels powder coated?
Yea those dark spots do suck ass but there not to bad, i was told it was some kind of impurity in the metal, that's why it has a couple of tiny dark spots. Valve cover looks good ocd i was thinking of getting my own powder coating equipment, i know harbor freight sells a bake oven and the gun for like $375. we'll see.

From my limited experience, the dark spots look like inconsistant flow from the gun. Too much powder comes out and lands almost in a clump. I need a better workspace to get the kind of quality I want out of it, I would just obsess over the imperfections and it would drive me mad. I picked up an oven for 25 bucks, and making the 220v extension cost me around 50. I already had my compressor and gun that I got from Eastwood co. (pretty good company, I would definitely recommend looking at them). If I would be staying at this house for longer, I would have just built my own oven. A DIY writeup I saw showed about $100 in materials and you can have an oven that would do everything short of a car frame, much easier to swallow than the $4K-8k ovens the professionals use.
