GReddy ProfecB spec 2 set-up?
Well, first tuning run completed. Happy with the results, I guess. I hit 20 PSI for the first time ever. Couldn't enjoy it though, for some reason right around 18 PSI (rough guess, because it built WAY fast, even in 4th!), it started hesitating and would then backfire and nearly shut down completely. I think it maye be my settings fucked up on the EBC, or possibly not a BCC installed...which would be stupid, but considering everything else this car had done to it wrong, not unbelievable.
PS- My settings were as follows:
LO
SET = 50%
GAIN = 10%
START BOOST = 150 (15psi)
WARN = 180 (18psi)
LOWER = 50%
For those who can decipher this and see something blatantly wrong, let me know!

PS- My settings were as follows:
LO
SET = 50%
GAIN = 10%
START BOOST = 150 (15psi)
WARN = 180 (18psi)
LOWER = 50%

LOL...good point. You know what you just made me realize? I read that the "LO" setting will not allow a higher boost, even though it will tell you that it is set there. Maybe that is what happened. Hmmmm. Regardless, I am going to restore "lo" to a default, or slightly higher than default, setting. I was just using it to learn the EBC a little. Then I will make "Lo" a real street low, and "Hi" a good racing curve...but I'm not going to do that until I'm on a dyno that I can dedicate for tuning. Street tuning this thing was difficult, and I'm sure I could easily fuck something up bad.
Werd. For anyone else trying to figure this all out, the link ZeroMR just posted is a GREAT thread from a Tampa forum. I find this especially funny since I am originally from Tampa. Ha! New forum for me to whore.
My hometown dood, I gotta troll that forum! LOL...I got no prob with the Nissan boyz.
BTW: That latest problem I mentioned being all worried about fuel cut, overboosting, la-dee-da??? Well, it helps if the fucking charge pipe was fully connected to the compressor...stupid me. SO, after re-tightening all the clamps, re-setting the EBC to 25% gain and opening at 8 PSI (I must have been freaking that thing out because originally I had the "START BOOST" a higher PSI than the gain was set...oops), I can go for a test run again...
Oh wait...it's fucking raining. Damn you mother nature. Oh well, I'll hit the interstate in 4th and should have no trouble. Finish laundry first. :P

Still raining. Now it's snowing and I gotta work. Shit. Well, I suppose I got it figured out. On 264 yesterday after work I was in 4th thinking I can punch it to see what the boost does (spike or creep, trying to get that sensitivity thing down right)...and I hit a little bump when it was at about 13 PSI and started to fucking spin. I was down to no gas though, so there is absolutely nothing holding the rear end down when there's no gas in it...still kinda creepy. Definitely huge improvement over last week!
