Situations like this is not good for business. You cant have customers upset and then venting on a website where there is alot of potential customers. I know that there are some people that you just cant make happy but I think IMO there could have been some kind of compromise like dropping the $100 fee.

Cool. Now my question is why he didn't know this when he picked up the car? Apparently he asked about it and noone knew where the stuff was?

A shop's lot or garage is not a storage facility. Most shops are small to medium size so space is at a premium. Working around a vehicle that cannot run is a pain. I have a feeling the diagnosis came in the early part of the 3-4 weeks, cost too much at the time, couldn't afford/didn't want to have vehicle moved at the customers expense or something close to that scenario. Ten dollars a day is fair. Only charging ten days storage time is a bargain. It is a business and that car was taking up the space of a paying customers car. As far as a technician not knowing what was taken out of the car or where it was put is common. It is a good idea for security reasons too, given the apparent history of items gone missing. The items are safe and will be returned as soon as contact is made. Sounds like decent business practices to me. Just my .02

This sounds a little shady. If you knew you had problems with parts walking off and when he came in and told you that some of the parts were missing, common sense should have told you that they were probably in the safe.

exactly! he even got a free diagnosis. don't get many of those anywhere. if you've got things in the car you don't want misplaced and you know the car's gonna be there for awhile why not take them out. and make sure you give the right contact # cuz some people can't write.

Yes it would have been ... if crs didn't reply. I don't know if you bothered to read his replies, but they did drop the fee down and that all the parts were accounted for.

Seems like everything is on the up-n-up to me.

There was no free diagnosis. I told them what the problem was and gave them everything needed to put the car back together. From what they were saying that they needed part, that where in the car and were told were in the car they never touched it. I did not need a diagnosis I know what I’m doing when it come to a 4g63 motor ask MerF! The only reason the car went to them is because I started a new job and did not have the time. But from everything I have heard about Auto Solutions is your car will sit forever.

Boosted dc2 lets not even get started talking or we can talk about Silms Accord that set a Millennium for over a year and all the shit was taken off the car sitting on the ground with the rims gone and Millennium telling him that he can't have his car unless he pays storage and you were going to call the police. NEXT

Someone Will be Picking up the stuff Later.

also not sure but how many people are able to get in your safe. I know the people in charge of Auto Solutions were there.

Thanks

AND YOU DID HAVE THE PHONE # HOW DID YOU CALLED US WHILE YOU WERE TOWING THE CAR TO THE HOUSE. YOU CALLED TWO TIME THAT NIGHT. BUT AS LONG AS YOU ARE GETTING MONEY UP FRONT YOU CAN CALL. OH WELL NOW THAT MY CAR IS GONE YOU CAN START CHARGING SOMEONE FOR THERE CAR THAT MAY NEVER GET WORKED ON.

LET THE CHARGING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
