yea so total would be like $100 plus....my wife got pulled for doin 60 in the 45.....she had to pay $134.00

 

i got a ticket for going 53 on a 30 zone. Thats 23 over so i guess thats wreckless? I dont think he said anything about me being wreckless, but he did almost pull his gun out on me for some reason, and being the first time i ever got pulled over, i was scared shitless. I wasn't really trying to speed or anything. I thought he pulled me over for exhaust or not front plate... speeding was the last thing i expected honestly. But anways he said if this was my first time getting a speeding ticket, the judge will normally just assign me to driving school and throw out the ticket.

but anyhow, do cops normally come to ur trial? how will they remember what happened? they pull over tons of cars every day dont they?

20 over = wreckless driving = 6 points on your license (pretty sure, was in WI and i think that one's universal)

6pts on your license could really f* up your insurance

 

i've probably had the officers show up to about half my court appearances... but there seems to be a common misconception that if the cop doesn't show up you get off free, not always true

 

DAMN!!! first off you guys piss me off because you can't spell RECKLESS right....ok and second, no our parking lights don't mean anything. we don't have to have them on. you guys are stupid for thinking that would justify speeding anyway. my advice is prepay the ticket because when you go to court the officer is going to testify the you entered his radar at one speed then exited at another. then he will testify to the fact that he reduced the speed to something lower. Now the judge will say " looks like you have recieved all the breaks you are going to get, GUILTY!" $70 fine plus court costs, which are $54 by the way. save yourself the trouble and prepay.

Oh yea and one more thing, 20mph or more over is RECKLESS Driving, unless it's a 35mph, then it 25mph or more over....end

 

yeah i would have to agree with assassin on this one. i wish i had a break but i didnt, i was doing 45 over the speed limit up the highrise bridge with know one around and i still got pulled, but i tell ya what it took the trooper a while to catch up to me, if i was you, just go to court and pay the fees, yours are definitly lower than mine were and you wont have to do jail time. reckless driving is no joke, sucks i had to learn the hard way

 

im 17 I have to go to court.

 

I got 91 in a 55 and evasion of police on damneck. 4 days in jail 1 month suspended license 1 year good behavior and a 600 dollar fine.
