I have heard from many people that S-Techs are one of the harshest rides.

Not to second guess you or anything, but are you sure it wasn't the H Techs? The S-Techs only lower your car 1.5-1.8", I'm not sure how that can be harsh, even on stock struts. I had Ebay coilover sleeves on my EK back in the day, and that was HARSH because I slammed it on stock struts and it had no strut travel.

Nope it was the S Techs. The S Techs are Tein's "aggressive" drop spring and the H Tech's offer a better ride quality but don't lower as much. I'm just giving my opinion, not trying to get you to change your mind or anything.....just sayin.

Yeah, you're right, the S-Techs are Tein's "aggressive" drop spring, but isn't that only compared to their H-Tech which is designed for luxury? I just don't see how 1.5" can be harsh. Maybe harsher than stock, but only comparably. Not trying to start an argument, but like you, merely giving my opinion.

You do know that not only does the ride height affect the ride, but spring rate too? I have no clue what the spring rate is for the S-Techs, I'm just saying that while 1.5" might not be that much the spring rate might suck...lol.

Edit: Every review that I speak of came from Subaru owners.....so it could just be shitty on Subaru's....lol, in that case you should be fine.

yep, they shitty on lexuses as well.

no one with a lexus really has anything that great to say about them either, especially since the front is usually higher than the rear on ISes

Point noted. Well, it's not like it's difficult to switch out springs on a Honda, so if I find I don't like them then I'll switch back to stock.

I installed the S Techs. I love them. The ride quality is close to stock, but just a little stiffer. It's not too low, but definitely noticeably lower. I can fit about 2-2.5 fingers in the well, as opposed to my whole fist.
