putting a turbo in a 93 eclipse gs
yes, you would, the oil being squirted on to the pistons is constantly being thrown off as the piston moves up and down, traveling with it on the way down slowing it down a little bit. so the wieght of the oil on the piston on its way down could be counted as rotating or technicaly speaking reciprocating mass. reciprocating mass is the stuff that moves up and down ie. rods, pistons, rotating mass is the stuff that spins ie. the rest of the shit. well i would just put a turbo on it and go for it. if i were you i would just throw the stock 14b on it use the factory wastegate and dont go over its 8psi setting. of course you will need at least an intercooler, injectors, safc, boost gauge, back the timing down a little, you might be able to get away with running the turbo ecu and just add a few pins and wires to your harness and the sensors they go to. dsmtuners.com and dsmtalk.com might be of some help
